Baking soda can be made into a paste and used to scrub surfaces in much the same way as commercial abrasive cleansers.

Baking soda is also great as a deodoriser.  To use this way simply place an open box in the refrigerator and freezer to absorb odours.

Put it anywhere you need deodorising action such as in your wardrobe or pet bedding.  It can also be used to absorb moisture and is great for keeping mildew away from stored items.

Baking Soda can even clean your teeth and is now an ingredient in toothpaste!
